The Drouhin family is one of Burgundy’s most famed négociants. Domaine Drouhin in Oregon is the culmination of four generations of winegrowing experience. Established in Oregon’s famed Willamette valley in 1988, the Drouhin style is one of great finesse and purity coupled with the hallmark perfume of truly great Pinot Noir. The 2005 DDO Pinot Noir shows an expressive nose of lilac and violet blossoms with a strong backbone and rich texture. The finish is long and silky, suggesting a wine that can age for the mid-term.
